Attention 8th graders and parents. Congratulations to Shawn Chau. He is the third million word read of the year. 100 students are going early to lunch all of this week — they were the first to earn 15 or more Reading Counts points. Keep reading Spartans!
If you read two million words this year, you will qualify for the two million words secret field trip at the end of the school year. The first twenty students who read two million words win. For more details, see Mrs. Ledbetter in room M29.
Students remember to RSVP online at www.scusd.edu/hsapplication-test or do the paper registration at the main office to reserve your spot to take the essay/test for the high specialty program that you are interested in applying for.
If you had your picture taken, but have not received your student ID, please see Ms. Lisa in the front office.
