Ryde Free RT
Fare-free for youth
Youth in grades TK through 12 can take advantage of RydeFreeRT, the fare-free transit program for youth and students.
With RydeFreeRT, youth can ride the entire SacRT transit network, including SacRT buses, light rail, and SmaRT Ride on-demand microtransit service for FREE! RydeFreeRT is available all day, any day of the week during regular SacRT service hours.
Students just need a school student ID card or a RydeFreeRT card. No sticker is required to ride. Schools will be issuing new RydeFreeRT cards to all Sac City Unified students in the next few weeks.

If you received a phone call from us letting you know that your child is missing an immunization to begin school, please bring those into the office as soon as possible.

School Registration
Due to the issues related to the Covid-19 pandemic and our current stay-at-home orders a new process was needed to support student enrollment. The link below will support New, Existing and Returning students, Intra-Inter Permit information/submission, Home Address Updates, Guardianship changes, as well as Open Enrollment/High School Specialty information/submission. Parents will be able to complete web based forms (using SMART Phones or Computers) and upload/attach all required documents.
Going Out of Town
If you are thinking about going out of town for 2 or more weeks, please call and let the school know at least 1 week in advance. We will arrange to gather the work that your child will be missing to do while he/she is away, so that he/she does not fall behind. If you have further questions, please call the school
Update Your Contact Information
To ensure that you receive accurate and effective school communication, please assist the school in keeping your child’s contact information up-to-date. Please call the school at (916) 395-5380, should your family move to a new residence or your phone number has been changed. All school communication will be sent to the contact information on file for your child.
